Whether you are concerned about a new symptom, want to ask questions about your therapy, or require a prescription, you can book a standard 15-minute appointment.

Or book an extended consultation for chronic illnesses that require a longer discussion, blood tests, or seek a second opinion, or if you want to ask advice about two or more conditions.

Booking Options

Please note that if you wish to see our GPs, you will need to book an appointment in advance.

  • We do not provide advice without a booked consultation.

  • Online bookings are available and can be made up to one week in advance.

  • Now offering face-to-face, telephone, or video consultations.

  • We do not accept walk-in patients. However, same-day appointments may be available. Please call us to check availability before attending the practice.

Appointments & Notice

Face-to-face appointments are held at the Portsmouth clinic from 9am to 1pm, Monday to Thursday, and are by appointment only (times are subject to change).

  • We are closed on UK Bank Holidays on selected religious occasions, and planned annual leave. Notice of closure will be given in advance.

  • Please note that any changes or cancellations to your appointment require at least 24 hours’ notice.

Electronic Prescriptions

Our consultations are thoughtfully designed to address your healthcare concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring you receive the attention and support you need. During your appointment, if appropriate, your GP can issue a private prescription, providing you with convenient access to any necessary medication as part of your care.

  • New remote service with video or telephone available.

  • Prescriptions can be sent electronically to your local pharmacy.

Consultations

You can book standard GP appointments for either 15 or 30 minutes, available in person, by video, or over the phone.

Follow-up appointments are offered to review test results or address ongoing health concerns.

If you require translation services, please book a longer appointment.

Acute Medical Complaints

We assess and treat urgent or short-term health issues such as coughs, colds, rashes, or allergies to help you recover quickly.

We do not see patients with acute chest pain, active bleeding or shortness of breath.

These require immediate emergency attention. Please attend an ED.

Chronic Health Conditions

We support patients with long-term conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, hypertension, asthma, and COPD.

Your care is personalised, with regular reviews and ongoing support to help you manage your condition.

Our goal is to improve your quality of life and reduce hospital admissions.

Children’s Health

We provide general health assessments for children and can arrange referrals to private clinics, hospitals, or specialists when necessary.

Our GPs support all areas of children’s health and development.

We also work closely with other private allied healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Mental Health

GPs provide confidential support for mental health concerns, assessing symptoms, offering talking therapies, prescribing medication, and referring to specialist services if necessary.

Support is available for both adults and children experiencing emotional or behavioural difficulties.

WE DO NOT PROVIDE MENTAL HEALTH CRISIS SERVICE

Prescriptions

Private prescriptions can be issued for a range of medications, including one-off treatments. Such as painkillers, antibiotics, digestive medications, and antibiotic treatments. However, prescriptions for controlled drugs are not provided.

WE DO NOT PRESCRIBE CONTROLLED DRUGS.

Investigations

When further assessment is needed, our GPs can arrange a variety of private investigations to support your diagnosis and care.

This includes blood tests, urine tests, and imaging such as X-rays or ultrasounds.


These investigations help us gather essential information to better understand your health concerns and guide your treatment appropriately.

Referrals

If your condition requires specialist expertise or advanced treatment, our GPs can provide private referrals to appropriate specialists, clinics, or hospitals.

We ensure a smooth referral process and work closely with other healthcare providers to coordinate your ongoing care and support.

  • Urinalysis (Dipstick Test): £20.00

  • Sick Note Certificate (maximum 2 weeks): £35

  • Referral to Specialist (per referral): £35

  • Referral for Investigations (per referral e.g., X-ray, MRI, etc.): £35

  • Administrative Charges (e.g., dealing with specialists and correspondences): £300/hour
