We area preferred provider to licence authorities to Southampton, Portsmouth, Fareham, and Gosport.
We can perform these taxi medicals for any local health authority not unless there are specific providers suggested by your local authority.

How can we help you?
Regency Medical offers services to support drivers with their licence and licence-renewal requirements.

The taxi medical consists of the doctor going through the medical form and your last 5-years of medical records.
The eye test is done using a Snellen Chart during this medical. If you wear glasses please bring them with you.

If you are a new resident and do not have the last 5-years NHS records, then English translated records will be required from your home country. If full records are not available a medical certificate to confirm the status of your health from a registered physician from your home country will be accepted by some local authorities. Please check with you local licensing office before making an appointment.

The cost of the medical is payable by card, cash, or bank transfer.

Please bring the following with you to the appointment:
– The medical form to be completed for the area you are wishing to obtain a taxi licence.
– Any correspondence relating to the taxi medical from your local authority.
– Last 5-years medical records either in printed form, access to the full NHS app records, or access to your online surgery notes.
– Your Driver’s Licence.
